EXPERIENCE: In his master thesis, Dr. Çakar worked on skin conductance and pulse rate methods in order to understand emotional processes as opposed to cognitive processes. In his thesis, he has worked on identity judgments and he performed several different models including mathematical, neurophysiological (EEG/ERP, optic brain imaging), and biometrics (eye-tracker) in order to understand the decision-making processes at various levels.
Dr. Çakar is currently working on the fields related to perception, cognition, applied neuroscience, big data analytics, predictive modeling in line with sector-specific and academic projects.
He has also worked on the cognitive assessment of employer branding with a novel method, moreover, he performed experiments for neural assessment for brand-adjective compatibility via EEG/ERP method.
Dr. Çakar has still been consulting with various companies from different sectors including retail, finance, banking, media, virtual reality, and augmented reality.
